SUSAN RENEE MATNEY, 41 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at her home. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of Beulah Nickels Matney, Grundy, VA, and the late Delford Matney, December 29, 2007. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and attended the Little Prater Church of Christ. She was a loving mother and former employee of Dairy Queen and McDonalds.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by 1-Brother: Anthony Steven Matney, February 3, 2008; Paternal Grandparents: Elzie and Alice Matney; Maternal Grandparents: John and Ruth Nickels; Special Friend: Angel Collins Blankenship.

She is survived by 1-Son: Ethan Stiltner, Grundy, VA, 2-Sisters: Patricia (Chris) Rowe, Abingdon, VA, Regina (Eddie) Sparks, Roanoke, VA, 1-Niece: Tiffany (Zach) Hiles, Boones Mill, VA

Also, survived by 3-Nephews: Tyler Rowe, Caleb Matney and Andrew Sparks; and Special Friend: Wayne Stiltner.

Funeral Services for SUSAN RENEE MATNEY will be conducted Friday, May 24, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evg. Mike Rife officiating with burial to follow in Nickels Cemetery, Deel, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
