RICKEY EUGENE STILTNER, 50 years of age of the Little Prater section of Grundy, VA, passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of Donald B. Stiltner, Maxie, VA, and the late Beulah Ruth Endicott Stiltner, November 23, 1994. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a retired Custodian for the Buchanan County School System with 30-years of service.

Mr. Stiltner is survived by his father, Donald B. Stiltner, Maxie, VA, and his companion, Stella Horn, Grundy, VA, 1-Daughter: Brittany Nicole Horn Stiltner, Bandy, VA, 1-Son: Rickey Lee Stiltner, of the Home, 2-Sisters: Barbara and husband Charlie Stump, Maxie, VA, Donna and husband Gene Goff, Rt. 1, Grundy, VA

Also, survived by 1-Niece: Kimberly Dawn Stump and 1-Nephew: Christopher Gene Goff; and Special Friends: Mae Smith, Mary Justus, Chandler Estep, Opal Stacy, Connie Brewster, Jo Murphy, Dorothy Estep, Sabrina Leann Horn, Teddy & Julie Street, Nora Brewster, Justin Street, Katie Street, Savannah Estep, Della Estep, Ginger Harrison, Gary Harrison, and Donita Estep.

He was preceded in death by 2-Brothers: Michael Paul Stiltner, September 5, 2005, and Gary Lee Stiltner, January 24, 2012; Maternal Grandparents: Roy and Sadie Justice; and Paternal Grandparents: Oliver and Martha Stiltner.

Funeral Services for RICKEY LEE STILTNER will be conducted Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. James Chapman and Pim Griffey officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Bill Prater, Billy Prater, Rickey Lee Stiltner, Charlie Stump, Ezra Estep, James Estep and Eddie Daugherty.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Sykes, Jimmy Marcum, Gene Goff, Dave Ball and the Employees of Total Home Health Care.
