RAY SENE SANDERS,
72 years of age of Jonesville, VA, formerly of Breaks, VA, passed away
Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Wellmont-Lee Regional Medical Center, Pennington
Gap, VA, following an extended illness. Born in Ash Camp, KY, he was the son
of Russell Sager and Margaret Lydia Mitchell Sanders. Ray served in the
United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was of the Baptist Faith.
He was a retired Coal Miner for Harman Mining Co., an electrician and member
of the United Mine Workers of America.
In addition to
his parents, he was preceded in death by 2-Sisters: Phyllis Sanders and
Juanita Sanders; and 3-Brothers: Vernon Sanders, Chester Sanders and Bobby
Sanders.
He is survived by
1-Son: Michael Ray Sanders, Breaks, VA, His Best Friend: Mary Helen Sanders,
Harman, VA, 3-Grandchildren: Michael Ray Sanders, Jr., Breaks, VA, Ashley
Elizabeth Sanders, Slate Creek, VA, Amber Dawn Ratliff, Richlands, VA,
1-Brother: Garrel Dean (Susie) Sanders, Ash Camp, KY
Graveside Rites for
RAY SENE SANDERS will be
conducted Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mountain Valley Memorial
Park, Big Rock, VA, with burial to follow.
Friends may call
at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. with
services at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Shea Shrader.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
Full Military
Graveside Rites will be conducted at the cemetery by members of Childs
Gentry Post No. 7360 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
