RANDALL LEE BLANKENSHIP, 64 years of age of Maxie, VA, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of Flossie Looney Blankenship, Harman, VA, and the late Byrd Blankenship. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and served in the United States Army for 5-Years. He was a loving husband, father, and was a member of John Ratliff Post No. 164 of the American Legion.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle Kelly Blankenship, July 24, 2011.

He is survived by his mother, Flossie Looney Blankenship, Harman, VA, 1-Son: Michael Blankenship, Harman, VA, 2-Sisters: Teresa and husband Dewey Ratliff, Harman, VA, Wilma Rowland, Houston, TX, 2-Brothers: Terry and wife Peggy Blankenship, Akron, OH, Bill and wife Janice Blankenship, Harman, VA

Also, survived by 4-Nieces and 9-Nephews.

Memorial Services for RANDALL LEE BLANKENSHIP will be conducted Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evg. Clint Stewart officiating.
