NARCIE HELEN CHURCH STACY, 76 years of age of the Stone Coal Section of Grundy, VA, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Bertha Ward Church. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church for 44-years. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

Mrs. Stacy is survived by her husband of 58-years, Willard Buford Stacy, Grundy, VA, 4-Daughters: Charlotte Varney, Keen Mountain, VA, Cheryl and husband Ronald Dean Cantrell, Conaway, VA, Chelia and husband Gary Hopkins, Bristol, VA, Carla and husband Larry Belcher, Conaway, VA, 2-Sons: Willard Curtis and wife Debbie Stacy, Grundy, VA, Calvin Carlis and wife Lisa Stacy, Grundy, VA, 1-Sister: Janet and husband Clyde Justus, Hurley, VA

Also, survived by 9-Grandchildren: Monica Blankenship, Curtis Edward Stacy, Jason Varney, Carlis Branden Stacy, Virginia Lee Price, Sarah Stacy, Nicholas Fletcher, Jessica Hinkle, Cody Darrell Lester; 7-Great-Grandchildren: Elizabeth Stacy, Evan Blankenship, Isaiah Stacy, Nicholas Price, Joseph Stacy, Tannith Blankenship and Hunter Hinkle.

She was preceded in death by 2-Sisters: Pauline Hurley and Arlene Gay Church; 2-Brothers: Lenvil Church and Hollin Church; and 1-Son-in-Law: Clyde Varney.

Funeral Services for NARCIE HELEN CHURCH STACY will be conducted Monday, July 30, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Elders: Jeff Arnold, Willard Owens and Blake Mullins officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Saturday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Jason Varney, Eddie Stacy, Michael Blankenship, Cody Lester, Brandon Stacy, Chase Hinkle, Jimmy Church and Randy Justus.         

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. J.G. Patel, Tina Compton, Buchanan General Home Health Employees and the 4^th Floor Nursing Staff of Buchanan General Hospital.
