MARGIE MAY LANE BISH, 86 years of age of the Poplar Creek Section of Grundy, VA, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Grundy, VA, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Sarah Stiltner Lane. She lived in Baltimore, MD, for 40-years and lived the remainder of the time in Buchanan County where she was a member of the Bethlehem Old Regular Baptist Church #2. She was a loving wife, sister and homemaker. She liked to sew, cook, enjoyed flowers and carrying food to others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Andrew Bish, September 7, 2010, 8-Brothers: John, Carrie, Willard, Homer, Burton, Benton, Allen and Burgess Lane.

She is survived by 2-Sisters: Mary Kirkpatrick, Grundy, VA, Ethel Wilson, La Follette, TN, 1-Brother: Burnis (Peggy) Lane, Grundy, VA

Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services for MARGIE MAY LANE BISH will be conducted Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lane Cemetery on Poplar Creek, Grundy, VA, with Evg. Mike Rife officiating.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Saturday evening at 6:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Nephews.
