MADGE CLEVINGER ROWE, 80 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at her home following as extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Lando and Mae Stiltner Clevinger. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the Little Prater Church of Christ where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the VFW Auxillary Post #7360. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph W. Rowe of Grundy, Virginia.

She is also survived by 2-Daughters: Brenda Joyce and husband Donnie Charles, Ft. Myers, FL, Shelia and husband Freddie Justus, Hurley, VA, 1 Son: Ralph W. and wife Paula Rowe, Jr., Grundy, VA, 3 Sisters: Melba Lester, Grundy, VA, Wilma Lee and husband Paul Baldwin, Grundy, VA, Shelby Jean and husband Jim Keen, Keen Mountain, VA, 1 Brother: Lonnie Everett Clevinger, Vansant, VA

Also, survived by (7) grandchildren, (13) great grandchildren and (1) great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by (5) Sisters: Laura Bell Clevinger, Geraldine Slone, Ruby Hagy, Alvia Ellen Clevinger and Burchie Vestal and by (2) Brothers: Kennith Clevinger and Kerksey Clevinger.

Funeral Services for MADGE CLEVINGER ROWE will be conducted on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Little Prater Church of Christ with Evg. Jon Searle and Evg. Mike Rife officiating with burial to follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Little Prater Church of Christ Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7 P.M. with Gerald Vanover officiating.
