LOYALE
GERTRUDE ESTEP,
93 years of age of Hurley, VA, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at
the Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN, following an extended
illness. Born in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Pem
Brooke and Oma Jane Hurley St. Clair. She was a resident of Buchanan County
most of her life and was a member of the Union Light Freewill Baptist Church
for 70-Years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,
great-great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her husband, Rev. Henry Estep, January 18, 2000; Her Infant Son:
Charles Gene Estep; 2-Granddaughters, 1-Great-Grandson, 1-Brother and
3-Sisters.
She is survived by 4-Daughters: Phyllis J. and
husband Larry Hogan, Rochester, WA, Connie L. and husband Hubert Dotson,
Rochester, WA, Judy S. and husband Sonny Buck, Rochester, WA, Betty K. and
husband Severin Erickson, Onalaska, WA, 3-Sons:
Jerry A. and wife Tauna Estep, Glennie,
MI, James Paul and wife Brookie Estep, Hurley, VA, Larry D. and wife Edith
Estep, Fenton MI, 4-Sisters: Brooksey Whitman, Holly, MI, Ida and husband
Shelton Michaels, Fenton, MI, Ruth Amos, Fenton, MI, Eleanor Elkins, Waco,
TX
Also, survived by 18-Grandchildren,
25-Great-Grandchildren, 1-Great-Great-Granddaughter.
Funeral Services for
LOYALE GERTRUDE ESTEP will be
conducted Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Union Light Freewill
Baptist Church with Revs. William Prater, Ronnie Hurley and L.C. Hunt
officiating with burial to follow Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock,
VA.
Friends may call at the Union Light Freewill Baptist
Church Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Friday and Saturday
evenings at 7:00 P.M.
Active Pallbearers will be her sons, Jerry A. Estep
& James Paul Estep; and Men of the Union Light Freewill Baptist Church.
