LARRY DARRELL THOMPSON, 60 years of age of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Richlands, VA, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Knoxville, TN. Born in Tazewell County, VA, he was the son of the late Johnny William and Bertha Mary Dunford Thompson. He was a loving father, grandfather and was a resident of Tazewell County most of his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1-Infant Sister; 1-Brother: Buford Raymond Thompson; 2-Nieces: Barbara Annalee Whitt and Crystal Gale Gilbert.

He is survived by 1-Daughter: Rose Oxford, North Carolina, 3-Sisters: Vella Thompson, Richlands, VA, Linda Carol Dillon, Richlands, VA, Mary Ann Williams, Charlottesville, VA, 2-Brothers: his twin: Douglas Gary Thompson, Lebanon, VA, Jerry Gene Thompson, North Tazewell, VA

Graveside Services for LARRY DARRELL THOMPSON will be conducted Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Smith Family Cemetery on Red Root Ridge, Raven, VA, with Rev. Danny Short officiating with burial to follow.
