KELSIE CLEVINGER VANOVER, 91 years of age of Maxie, VA, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Bud and Martha Church Clevinger. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burlin Vanover, July 10, 1994; 1-Daughter: Kathy Lester; 1-Son: Homer Vanover; and 7-Brothers.

 

She is survived by 2-Daughters: Linda Looney, Conaway, VA, Tracy Lynn Vanover, Maxie, VA, 5-Sons: Eugene Vanover, Maxie, VA, Burton Vanover, Harman, VA, Grover Vanover, Prater, VA, Jessie Vanover, Craigsville, VA, Gary Vanover, Vansant, VA, 1-Brother: Jack Clevinger, Lebanon, VA

 

Also, survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral Services for KELSIE CLEVINGER VANOVER will be conducted Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders: Roger Coleman, Larry Puckett and James Wright officiating with burial to follow in the Vanover Cemetery on Big Charlie Hollow, Harman, VA.

 

Friends may call at the Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church Saturday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

 

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
