JOHN STEVEN SCARBERRY,
41 years of age of Pounding Mill, VA, passed away Saturday, February 16,
2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. Born in Richlands, VA,
he was the son of Clell Scarberry, Pikeville, KY, and the late Connie
Jackson Scarberry. He was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church and was
a disabled coal miner. Mr. Scarberry had a joyful heart and loved his
nieces, nephews and brothers and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived
by his wife, Melissa White Scarberry, Pounding Mill, VA, his father, Clell
(wife Amy) Scarberry, Pikeville, KY, Paternal Grandmother: Liza Mullins
Scarberry, Pounding Mill, VA, 2-Nieces: Nakita Scarberry, Pikeville, KY,
Merri Beth Scarberry, Pikeville, KY, 1-Nephew: Brandon Scarberry, Pikeville,
KY, 2-Brothers: Rodney (Brooke) Scarberry, Pikeville, KY, Alden Scarberry,
Pikeville, KY, 1-Step-Brother: Corey Thornsberry, Pikeville, KY
Funeral Services for
JOHN STEVEN SCARBERRY will be
conducted Monday, February 18, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home
Chapel with Elders: Danny Hurley, Zeb Justice and Roy Lester officiating
with burial to follow in the Scarberry Cemetery on the Cushaw Section of
Guesses Fork, near Hurley, VA.
Friends may call
at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Sunday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services
at 7:00 P.M.
