JIMMIE “WEASEL” DARRELL SEXTON, 53 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Buchanan General Hospital, Grundy, VA. Born in Richlands, VA, he was the son of Casby Glenn and Shirley Mae Sexton Bowman, Florahome, FL.  He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was baptized at the Little Prater Church of Christ. He was a loving husband, father and a disabled Coal Miner.

Mr. Sexton is survived by his parents, Casby Glenn and Shirley Mae Sexton Bowman, Florahome, FL, His daughter: Shonna (Jonathan) Dotson, Richlands, VA, 2-Sisters: Rhonda (Donnie) Blankenship, Florahome, FL, Mary Ellen (Jimmy) Street, Lebanon, VA, 3-Brothers: Roy James Sexton, Grundy, VA, Lloyd Keith (Donna) Sexton, Vansant, VA, David Glenn Bowman, Grundy, VA

Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Jean Yates Sexton, 1996; his grandparents: Jay and Willie “Nannie” Sexton; 2-Daughters: Sharon Kaye Sexton and Kimberly Dawn Sexton; 2-Sisters: Juanita Sue Sexton and Blanche Dellinger; 5-Brothers: Samuel Lee Sexton, Lloyd David Sexton, Sr., Elmer Eugene Sexton, William J. Sexton and Joe Robert Sexton.

Funeral Services for JIMMIE “WEASEL” DARRELL SEXTON will be conducted Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evg. Dennis Wimmer & Rev. Jerry Ward officiating with burial to follow in the Russell Memorial Park, Lebanon, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Friday evening at 6:00 P.M.
