JERRY WAYNE SLIGER, 56 years of age of Good Hope, GA, formerly of Buchanan County, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Abbey Hospice, Social Circle, GA, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late James E. and Gladys Pearl Turner Sliger. He was a resident of Buchanan County for many years prior to moving to Georgia 26-years ago and was a member of Harman Freewill Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was a Lawn Business Owner.

Mr. Sliger is survived by his wife, Patricia Gail Deel Sliger, Good Hope, GA, 2-Sons: Brandon and wife Tyson Sliger, Orlando, FL, Nathan Sliger, Buford, GA, 3-Grandchildren: Taylor Sliger, Monroe, GA, Emmalee Sliger, Orlando, FL, Rylee Sliger, Orlando, FL, 5-Sisters: Janice Breitenbach, Belews Creek, NC, Margaret Ratliff, Kernersville, NC, Patricia Ratliff, Kernersville, NC, Reba Cantrell, Grundy, VA, Lucille Duncan, Walnut Cove, NC, 2-Brothers: Ronnie and wife Janie Sliger, Grundy, VA, James “J.D.” Sliger, Grundy, VA

Funeral Services for JERRY WAYNE SLIGER will be conducted Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Wilson and Evg. Josh Bowman officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Sunday evening at 6:00 PM. with a song service at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
