After a period of declining health, JAMES McCALL “JIM MAC” LAMBERT, 68 years of age, died peacefully at Grace Healthcare of Abingdon, VA, on Saturday, January 26, 2013. Born in Grundy, VA, he was the son of the late James W. and Verna Patrick Lambert. “Jim Mac” was a graduate of Grundy High School and Emory & Henry College and was a disabled Social Worker.

He is survived by 3-Sisters: Sandy Cook, Bristol, TN, June Strachan, Clearwater, FL, Charlotte Rockey, Encino, CA, 1-Niece: Phyllis Carlyle, Encino, CA, 6-Nephews: Dr. Patrick (wife Susan) Rash, Kingsport, TN, Dr. Jonathan (wife Anita) Cook, Chapel Hill, NC, Dr. Joel Cook, Charleston, SC, Scott Strachan, Clearwater, FL, Eric (wife Kathy) Strachan, Naples, FL, Jeffrey (wife Janelle) Carlyle, Chanhassen, MN

Graveside Rites for JAMES McCALL “JIM MAC”LAMBERT will be conducted Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA, with Evg. Mike Rife officiating with burial to follow.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 Noon till 2:30 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
