GARY BELCHER, 52 years of age went to be with the Lord, April 22, 2013 in Pikeville, KY, after a short illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Harold Ray & Shelby Jean McClanahan Belcher. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County, was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and a 1978 Graduate of Grundy Senior High School. Gary was a former employee of Levisa Testing and a former aerial tram operator for United Coal Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Wiley & Cora Breeding McClanahan and by his paternal grandparents: Stanton & Lora Coleman Belcher.

He is survived by Jennifer Ramey Belcher of Grundy, VA, 1-Daughter: Summer Nicole Belcher, Grundy, VA, 2-Brothers: Gregory (Deleria) Belcher, Virgie, KY, Scott (Donna) Belcher, Little Prater, VA, 2-Nieces: Larrissa Belcher, Richlands, VA, Kendyl Belcher, Virgie, KY, 3-Nephews: Eric (Brooke) Belcher, Grundy, VA, Cory Belcher, Grundy, VA, Cody Belcher, Grundy, VA, 2-Great Nieces: Peyton & Chloe Belcher, Richlands, VA, 1-Great Nephew: Jacob Belcher, Grundy, VA.

Funeral Services for GARY BELCHER will be conducted Friday, April 26, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Eddie Wilson and Josh Bowman officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M with services Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
