FRANKIE SELBEE FORTNER, 95 years of age of Wolford, VA, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at her home following an extended illness. Born in Wayne County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Henry Selbee and Mary Tennessee Watts Selbee Adkins. She was a resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was a member of the Bee Branch Old Regular Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Fortner, April 16, 2007; 1-Daughter, Rachel Rife Cline, November 29, 2011; 1-Son: Donald Fortner, January 4, 2011; 2-Sisters: Nellie Selbee and May Cyrus; 3-Brothers: Boyd Selbee, Thurman Adkins and Ermal Wilson; 1-Grandson: 3-Great-Grandchldren and 2-Sons-in-Law:

She is survived by 5-Daughters: Geraldine and husband Roy Nichols, Grundy, VA, Brenda and husband Latney Bandy, Wolford, VA, Diana and husband Ron Bandy, Hurley, VA, Anita and husband Jimmy Goss, Whitewood, VA, Marletta and husband Greg Cantrell, Whitewood, VA, 1-Son: Burnice and wife Janet Fortner, Hurley, VA, 2-Sisters: Laura Williams, Glendale, AZ, Thelma Napier, Novi, MI

Also, survived by 16-Grandchildren, 28-Great-Grandchildren and 17-Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for FRANKIE SELBEE FORTNER will be conducted Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bee Branch Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders: James Stacy, Gary Estep, George Baker and Danny Hurley officiating with burial to follow in the Mary Lou Cemetery, Paynesville, WV.  

Friends may call at the Bee Branch Old Regular Baptist Church Saturday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
