EVANGELIST RICKY DARRELL STILTNER, 59 years of age of Grundy, VA, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Pikeville Medical Center after an apparent heart attack.  Born in Richlands, VA, he was the son of the late Riddle and Maudie Farmer Stiltner. Ricky was a member of the Blackey Church of Christ where he had served as pastor for over 25 years. Before becoming a Church of Christ preacher he was a coal miner and a US Army veteran.

He is survived by 1-Daughter: Kimberly Griffey, Grundy, VA, 1-Sister: Bessie Hawkins, Grundy, VA, 1-Grandson: Joshua Stiltner, 1- Granddaughter: Chloe Griffey, 1-Nephew: Brian Stacy, Grundy, VA, 2-Nieces: Melissa Ritchie, Dayton, Ohio, Jennifer Tong, Middlesboro, KY      

Funeral Services to celebrate the life of EVANGELIST RICKY DARRELL STILTNER will be conducted Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evgs. Dennis Wimmer and Rafael Furrow officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia.

Friends may call at the Lower Chapel of Grundy Funeral Home Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
