ELLA JOYCE PERRY CLEVINGER, 82 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, TN. Born in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Decautar and Mayme Viola Adams Perry. She was a resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was a member of the Grundy Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful Homemaker and Baby Sitter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Clayton Clevinger, November 19, 2004; 1-Son: Perry Clayton Clevinger; 2-Sisters: Bernice Baker and Edith Bevins; and 2-Brothers: L.D. Perry and Bill Perry.

She is survived by 2-Daughters: Vivian Carol and husband Gary Coleman, Grundy, VA, Mona Rebecca Clevinger, Grundy, VA, 1-Step-Son: Jerry Eugene Clevinger, Tucson, AZ, Special Niece: Vivian “Ski” Fogarty, Martins Ferry, OH

Also, survived by 2-Grandchildren: J.C. and wife Christy Coleman and Tina Clevinger; 1-Step-Grandson: Jerry Eugene Clevinger, Jr.; 4-Great-Grandchildren: Bryson Coleman, Zachary Coleman, Jonathan Clevinger and Joshua Clevinger.

Funeral Services for ELLA JOYCE PERRY CLEVINGER will be conducted Friday, November 16, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Church of Christ with Evg. Dennis Wimmer, Evg. Bob Smith and Bobby Endicott officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Church of Christ Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Bill Carter, J.C. Coleman, Dave Bevins, Robert “Bull” Bevins, Ronnie Clevinger, Larry Boyd, Rodney Lee, Frank Compton and Bryson Coleman.
