ELEANOR BEATRICE DOTSON, 76 years of age of the Guesses Fork Section of Hurley, VA, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late William McKinley Rowe and Dollie M. Justus. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of Blackey Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, bookkeeper for Dotson Trucking Company and a wonderful homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Carl Dotson; 1-Son: Richard A. Dotson; 1-Sister: Ruth Dotson and 1-Brother: Junior Rowe.

She is survived by 1-Daughter: Shirley Carol (husband Dorse) Tester, Paw Paw, VA, 2-Sons: Mark (wife Debbie) Dotson, Guesses Fork, Hurley, VA, Jack Dotson, Lesters Fork, Hurley, VA, 2-Grandchildren: Lisa (husband Johnny) Stiltner, Russell County, VA, Amanda (fiancé Olen Keith Celozzi) Tester, Paw Paw, VA, 1-Great-Grandchild: Brody James Celozzi, Paw Paw, VA, 1-Sister: Audrey Thompson, Elkins Branch, VA, 1-Brother: Doyle “Sandy” (wife June) Rowe, Grundy, VA

Also, survived by Special Friend and Caregiver: Donna Mounts; and several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services for ELEANOR BEATRICE DOTSON will be conducted Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Conn officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.
