DAVID
ROY WOLFORD,
62 years of age of the Homecreek Section of
Grundy, VA, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Wellmont-Bristol Hospice
after a short illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of Delma
Whited Wolford Coleman of Grundy, VA, and the late Elga Wolford. David was a
disabled coal miner and a US Army veteran. He was a wonderful son, father
and grandfather, loved his cars and racing,
especially Dale Earnhardt.
In addition to
his mother, he is survived by his Wife: Shirley Dotson Wolford, Homecreek,
7-Children: Tony (Cassie) Lucado, Vinton, VA, Shane Bradley (Bridget)
Wolford, Asheboro, NC, Gary (Cammie) Tolbert, Las Vegas, Nevada, David Lee

Asheboro, NC, Linda (Curt) Barrett, Asheboro, NC, His step-father: Gerald
Coleman, Grundy, VA, 3-Sisters: Barbara (Marty) Farmer, Bristol, VA, Deborah
(Jerry) Lester, Hurley, VA, Rhonda (Kiser) Endicott, Asheboro, NC,
3-Brothers: Jerry (Companion – Diane Moore) Wolford, Big Rock, VA, Danny
(Sharon) Wolford, Homecreek, Johnny (Abbie) Coleman, Rosedale, VA

by18-Grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for
DAVID ROY WOLFORD will be
conducted Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Eddie Wilson officiating with cremation to follow.
