DAVID LEE WOOLDRIDGE, 51 years of age of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, formerly of Buchanan County, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Florida Medical Center, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, following a brief illness. Born in Grundy, VA, he was the son of Hassel Wooldridge, Grundy, VA, and the late Billie Combs Wooldridge (1995). He was a resident of Buchanan County many years and was a member of the Church of Christ. David was a graduate of Grundy Senior High School and Radford University. He was a loving son and brother and was Manager of Dillard’s Department Store, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by Maternal Grandmother: Lena Combs; Paternal Grandmother: Grace Wooldridge; Maternal Great Aunt: Della Turner.

He is survived by his father, Hassel Wooldridge and companion Shelia Sutherland, Grundy, VA, 1-Brother: Bill Wooldridge, Loganville, GA

Also, survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Special Friends: Jose Castro and Don Whipple, and Caregivers.

Funeral Services for DAVID LEE WOOLDRIDGE will be conducted Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evg. Mike Rife and Evg. William L. Neeley officiating with burial to follow at a later date.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Saturday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. to await the funeral hour at 7:00 P.M.
