DANNY BOY “RED WAGON” STILTNER, 65 years of age of the Lower Mill Branch Section of Grundy, VA, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Buchanan General Hospital. Born in Grundy, VA, he was the son of the late Leck and Alpha Lester Stiltner. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the Little Prater Church of Christ. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and was a retired coal truck driver from United Coal Company. Mr. Stiltner loved motorcycles and loved to work on old cars.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1-Brother: Roby Stiltner.

 

He is survived by his loving wife, Betsy Mullins Stiltner, Grundy, VA, 2-Daughters: Pamela Stiltner, Bristol, VA, Shedawn (Josh) Blankenship, Mouthcard, KY, 1-Son: Rod (Virginia) Stiltner, Columbus, GA, 1-Sister: Brenda Lester, Grundy, VA, 4-Brothers: Benny (Melissa) Stiltner, Bristol, VA, Henry (Judy) Stiltner, Grundy, VA, Estil (Sherry) Stiltner, Honaker, VA, Sam (Barbara) Stiltner, Chuckie, TN

 

Also, survived by 5-Grandchildren: Peanut, Jake and Amanda McClurg, Rylan and Molly Blankenship; 3-Great-Grandchildren: Jamie, Nick and Damon McClurg.

 

Funeral Services for DANNY BOY “RED WAGON” STILTNER will be conducted Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Elders: Ralph Mullins and other Old Regular Baptist Elders officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

 

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

 

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
