CHRISTINE
HAYES STILTNER,
71 years of age of the Homecreek Section of Grundy, VA, passed away
Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Grundy, VA,
following an extended illness. Born in Mingo County, WV, she was the
daughter of the late Bill Hayes and Julia Miller Hayes Jude. She was a
resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was a member of the New
Zion Freewill Baptist Church, Big Rock, VA. She was a loving wife, mother,
grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Stiltner was a wonderful homemaker
and former employee of the Eastern Isles Sewing Factory for 14-years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haven
Stiltner, 2008; 2-Sisters: Ora Mae Jude Maynard and Nellie Hayes Scott;
9-Brothers: Ralph Jude, Raymond Jude, Curtis Hayes, Tommy Hayes, Arnold
Hayes, Eugene Hayes, Russell Hayes, Billy Ray Hayes and Donnie Hayes.
She is survived by 2-Daughters: Vickey Lloyd, Jacksonville, FL, Karen
(Keith) Baldwin Willis, Homecreek, VA, 3-Grandchildren: Tanner (Heather)
McCoy, Savannah, GA, Samantha (Robbie) Collins, Belfast, VA, Caitlin Lee
(Ray) Clark, Homecreek, VA, 2-Great-Grandchildren: Haven and Trey McCoy,
4-Sisters: Her Twin – Kathy (Rick) Ellis, Grundy, VA, Gail (Eugene)
Robinson, Louisa, KY, Ethel (John) Marcum, Marcum, OH, Hazel (Bob) Hill,
Cleveland, OH, 1-Sister-in-Law: Ann Smith, Meadowview, VA,

Funeral Services for
CHRISTINE HAYES STILTNER
will be conducted Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 1:00
P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. E.C. Honaker officiating
with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Friday evening at 6:00
P.M. with song services at 7:00 P.M.
Active Pallbearers will be Nephews and Great-Nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Members of the New Zion Freewill Baptist
Church, Friends and Neighbors.
