BARBARA ELLEN STANLEY RATLIFF, 72 years of age of Rogersville, TN, formerly of Buchanan County, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Wellmont-Hawkins County Memorial Hospital, Rogersville, TN, following an extended illness. Born in Dickenson County, she was the daughter of the late Grady R. and Claudia Fleming Stanley. She was a resident of Buchanan County many years and was a member of New Hope Christian Church. Barbara was active in Girl Scouts over 15-years and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Ronald Ratliff, December 24, 2006; 2-Sisters: Susie Cox and Catherine Brookman.

Funeral Services for BARBARA ELLEN STANLEY RATLIFF will be conducted Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the New Hope Christian Church with Evg. William L. Neeley officiating with entombment to follow in Greenhillls Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Claypool Hill, VA.  

Friends may call at the New Hope Christian Church Sunday afternoon at 1:00 P.M. to await the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M.
